The senseless violence  in major cities only confirm the increase in urban violence reported daily in the media. Drug gangs  are creating danger and fear in the African American communities. Our objective is to see that all children who live in the inner city will enjoy a safe environment in which they can live  and reach their full potential and accomplishments in order to make a contribution in society. The aim of the Grass Roots Community Activist Movement is to create a safer, more productive community base program which will focus on personal responsibility, safety,  and civic contribution. Also to bring violence prevention programs within the low income African American communities that will benefit the communities, families, and the cities we will serve.

 We will do cooperative alliances with local schools, business, and religious institutions in our communities. We will also expand our programs to focus on neighborhood safety with an  emphasis on cultural, social, and educational adversity.  Our after school programs would provide an alternative to the lure of drugs and gang life through our supportive environment dedicated to community service and personal responsibility.  Our programs will emphasize education, violence prevention and private employment within the organization in order to steer youth in a positive direction as well as an alternatives to drugs, and gang involvement.  Our programs would include not limited to just martial arts classes,  homework assistance, nutrition, arts and crafts, recreational games, community volunteer projects, cultural arts trips, computer skills, and performing arts.

There is a saying if you build it, they will come. But in order to build it I first need seed money. I don’t ask for  donations instead I ask those on my friends list to purchase my book “The Solution For Black America: Reclaiming, Rebuilding, and Restoring The Urban Ghettos In America" Second Edition.  If you agree with what I am trying to do in Urban America then work with me directly by sharing my information with your family and friends also by keeping the lines of communication open.  The Grass Roots Community Activist Movement can only come about if Black America wants it.
